So, I'm kinda totally outta the loop here. Someone mentioned Team Rocket in connection with the whole stolen bird Pokemon thing, and I have no idea who Team Rocket is. Mind fillin' a guy in?

Team Rocket is a group that attacks cities and people for no reason other than to prove they can or steal Pokemon from their trainers. You should avoid them if you get the chance. Especially if you're new around here.

...telling me that kinda makes me feel like I should be doing the opposite. Stopping guys like that is pretty much what I do back home.

And what could you do here? Take a team that caps out at six Pokemon and fight off an entire organization that's not against attacking you directly? You wouldn't last ten minutes.

Sneak in and break their stuff is usually a pretty good option. I mean, facing ridiculously long odds is kinda Team Possible's thing. And I might be the only half of the team here, but that doesn't make me useless.

And is it "Team Possible"'s thing to go recklessly charging in without any information on their enemies? Because that's what sneaking in will do, besides making you a target. And they don't play nice with their targets, especially once you've made them mad.

You seem to have me mixed up with someone who's already run out the door and started punching things.

I haven't had much experience with other kinds of people. I haven't seen many people actually stop and think about the consequences of their actions before they do something, and you haven't really proven to me that you're any different.

I do know you need information for this kinda thing. I don't go in places without a whole bnch of information about it. But I'm not a info gathering guy, I'm a "go into places, cause a huge distraction, and/or break things" guy. I'm not gonna do anything until I find someone who can give me info, though.

So if I told you there was a group already fighting back against Team Rocket, and they were gathering information, what would you do? Would you join them or still work on your own?

Then get to Goldenrod City as soon as you can. The leaders of that group are there now, and you'll need to talk to them in person before you can join up. Ask for Lightning Farron.

Maybe. Or maybe I'm someone using her gear. You'll still have to come to Goldenrod and talk to someone in person if you want to join the group. There's too much at stake to explain what we are over the network.

You could check the network before asking is all I'm saying. I've been heare for about two months myself.
